Share of the labour force (nationals and non-nationals, 15+) that is without work but available for and seeking employment.

Methodology: World Bank WDI series SL.UEM.TOTL.ZS uses ILO modelled estimates, which can differ from national labour force surveys (e.g. GASTAT quarterly figures). Gulf totals are pulled down by large expatriate workforces employed on sponsorship contracts.
